WELCOME TO WHIMSICAL ANIMAL RESCUE/SUSSEX COUNTY ANIMAL ASSOCIATION
WAR/SCAA is a private 501c3 non profit organization located in Seaford, DE. We are all volunteers working for the same cause - to help homeless dogs and cats. We do not have a shelter and all rescues are kept at our homes or in foster homes.
If you are interested in any of our animals, please read over our Adoption Information and complete an application. Once we have reviewed it we will contact you if further information is needed or to arrange a visit. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions. Thank you.
Courtesy listing pets are not at our rescue. Any pet listed as a courtesy listing may not have been seen by anyone at our rescue. We are solely placing them on our site in hopes to help find these pets a home prior to going to high kill shelters. Usually we are full and unfortunately cannot bring them into our rescue. Therefore we may ask that the pets remain where they are while we help to find them a home. These pets are listed with the given information from the person/persons who have them. On most occassions the vetting has been done by our rescue and will be noted in the pets description if that is the case. We can not guarantee the information that was supplied to us from the caregiver/owner. If you have any questions about adopting a pet that is a courtesy listing please email us at starjazzmo@aol.com
