WELCOME TO WHIMSICAL ANIMAL RESCUE/SUSSEX COUNTY ANIMAL ASSOCIATION
WAR/SCAA is a private 501c3 non profit organization located in Seaford, DE. We are all volunteers working for the same cause - to help homeless dogs and cats. We do not have a shelter and all rescues are kept at our homes or in foster homes.
If you are interested in any of our animals, please read over our Adoption Information and complete an application. Once we have reviewed it we will contact you if further information is needed or to arrange a visit. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions. Thank you.

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Small
A quick before and after of this little princess named Mona Lisa, because of her adorable smile. She was so sick and defeated when we rescued her in February. She was terrified and had to be trapped. Once she came home with me, she was enjoying affection by the next day and I was able to immediately medicate her for the next 10 days. Mona Lisa is a sweet and trusting little girl. She needs a quiet home with someone who understands that she needs a little more time to adjust. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. She also loves her friend Aurora, that will be on the website this weekend. It would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. Mona Lisa will be on our website by later today. Applications are available at Delawarerescue.com
