WELCOME TO WHIMSICAL ANIMAL RESCUE/SUSSEX COUNTY ANIMAL ASSOCIATION
WAR/SCAA is a private 501c3 non profit organization located in Seaford, DE. We are all volunteers working for the same cause - to help homeless dogs and cats. We do not have a shelter and all rescues are kept at our homes or in foster homes.
If you are interested in any of our animals, please read over our Adoption Information and complete an application. Once we have reviewed it we will contact you if further information is needed or to arrange a visit. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions. Thank you.
Lyric was born at the rescue the day after her mom was owner surrendered to us. There are 9 pups total in this litter. All have had their first puppy vaccine and will receive their 2nd on the 13th. They have been dewormed, current on preventatives, have had a physical with our vet, and microchipped. The mom is part Australian shepherd as her mom was a pure bred. No idea on her dad was or the dad of this litter. They are sweet pups who are playful and inquisitive. They love their toys but also like to cuddle. Due to their size they are not yet fixed so there will be an additional $75 added to their adoption fee. This will be returned to you once you have them altered and provide us with proof from your vet that it has been completed. If interested in possible adoption please go to www.DelawareRescue.com and complete the online adoption application
If you are interested in adopting please read the information here and then complete our online adoption application. One of our volunteers will contact you once the application has been processed. If this animal is listed as a courtesy posting for another rescue please go to their website to complete the online adoption application.
